Our newest addition to the LFLC line-up is here, and it’s a place for you to yell into the void about any and every book you’ve ever wanted to share with people on the internet. Within this thread you can share reading recs or search for your next favorite paperback, post about what you’ve finished reading and what you’re about to start. The sky’s the limit! Or possibly the top of the bookshelf is… either way, enjoy.
I have read lots of books during this Covid time and I think I might like to read "Becoming Mrs. Lewis. I'd like to hear from others what they liked.
My favorite all time is "No Wonder the Call Him the Savior" by Max Lucado. Next is "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers. (Stayed up all night reading this) Then Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers ("A Voice In the Wind", "An Echo In the Darkness", and "As Sure As the Dawn") I couldn't put those down. Historical novels about life in the 1st century Jerusalem, Rome and Ephesus.
Another favorite is "The Color of Grace" by Bethany Haley Williams about her life and the lives of the enslaved child soldiers of the LRA army in Africa.
Becoming Mrs. Lewis: The Improbable Love Story of Joy Davidman and C. S. Lewis
by Patti Callahan
I am really enjoying a book by Anne George. About a couple of sister amateur detectives. It's "Murder Carries a Torch".
